Should we settle this debate once and for all? The Ship of Theseus is a thought experiment about identity. According to the ancient writer Plutarch, the Athenians preserved the ship that carried the hero Theseus by replacing its old wooden planks as they decayed. Eventually, every original plank could be replaced. So the question is: if every part of the ship has been changed, is it still the same Ship of Theseus? And to further the debate... If someone took all the old planks and rebuilt them into another ship, which one would be the "real" Ship of Theseus? Sail to more context ➡️ https://w.wiki/FZB
