“Brian was both a strong individual contributor and leader of our software organization. I appreciated Brian's enthusiasm and passion with software - his unique and natural comprehension of software development is a hallmark that will resonate with those who worked with Brian. It is this talent that will serve him well as he pursues those roles, where his ability to lead and code, can be utilized to the full. Brian's entrepreneurial mindset was another powerful attribute of his contributions. He intuitively understands how to translate requirements into solutions that are of value to the business. I was always struck by his willingness to take the initiative to make things better and do so in collaboration with others on his team. Brian helped us at Atlas Informatics through these strengths to ensure we made ourselves more effective and productive, even under the most challenging of circumstances that often come with the startup experience. Personally, I found Brian to be a reliable and trusted partner to our engineering efforts at Atlas. He was open with the challenges and willing to find ways to creatively solve our problems. He also felt concern for his team and made sure they were represented effectively to leadership in the company. A company looking for an engineer that is strongly capable, coupled with leadership characteristics, will be well placed to consider Brian.”
