Daniel Fine reposted thisDaniel Fine reposted thisGreat to have the Liquid LP team at iConnections Global Alts Conference Miami 2026. Private markets have scaled dramatically, yet the infrastructure around liquidity has not evolved at the same pace. That gap is now becoming one of the most important conversations across alternatives. The volume and quality of conversations around liquidity solutions for private markets made one thing clear. This is no longer a niche problem. It is core infrastructure for the next phase of alternatives. Excited for what comes next. Daniel Fine shared thisYou or someone you know have demand (purchase orders) and need money to fund the supply chain? Let us know! Psyched by our new name and what’s soon to come!Daniel Fine shared thisNew Year, New Name, Same Us. It’s hard to believe that we are already in the second month of 2023. This year is going to be a big one for us, and as you can see, we started it out with a bang, upgrading our brand and name to become Setscale. Our mission remains helping ambitious businesses access the funding they need to deliver at the most critical moments in their growth. Imagine getting your first purchase order from Target or Walmart for your brand new CPG startup, but not having the credit history necessary for a traditional loan or line of credit. We’ve been there and we know how pivotal this moment can be. It’s why we started Setscale - to unlock capital through a more holistic look at your business, its relationships, and its potential, rather than the more traditional and, frankly, outdated process of merely reviewing your credit and financial data. Over the course of this year we will be focused on scaling the businesses of our customers and also our own. We hope you’ll follow along with us here on Linkedin, by visiting our new website (setscale.com), or grabbing some time to chat with us (hello@setscale.com).Fund Supply and Meet Demand | PO Financing | SetscaleFund Supply and Meet Demand | PO Financing | Setscale

Daniel Fine liked thisDaniel Fine liked thisI’m excited to share that M7 Health has been acquired by Ascend Learning. Six years ago, I was a nurse and MBA student with big ideas about how technology and AI could improve the way health systems support, manage, and deploy their clinical workforces. I had seen firsthand the opportunity to create more personalized employee experiences, better align patient care needs with staffing in real time, and drive clinical leaders to decisions that improve both outcomes for patients and financial outcomes for health systems. If we could literally cure cancer on my unit, it couldn’t be true that technology fell short of creating an outcome that was a win-win-win for everyone: patients, healthcare workers, and health systems. I’m so proud of the work we’ve done at M7 to turn my initial curiosity into a platform that achieves exactly that goal. We reach tens of thousands of healthcare workers across hundreds of hospitals every shift. But there is so much more we can do to expand our reach and deepen our impact. Most acquisition posts take the tone of reaching the end of the road or crossing the finish line after a long, arduous, but thrilling marathon. This isn’t one of those posts. Eric Gruskin and I will continue to lead M7 alongside our incredible team. We are committed to revolutionizing health system workforce ops, and we know that partnering with Ascend is the most powerful way to continue building toward our vision, doing what we love, and supercharging the growth and impact we’ve seen. Ascend is the perfect partner for M7. It brings a shared mission, unparalleled data and insights from its work across 60% of US nursing schools, and the resources to push the envelope on how AI can drive innovation in health system operations. Together, we have a huge opportunity to help health systems think holistically about their workforce strategies, from how talent enters the profession to how they are supported, developed, and deployed throughout their careers. We’re so excited to work with Lissy Hu, Frank Ingari, and the Ascend team to bring this vision to life. Early on, Eric and I heard many reasons why the vision for M7 was too ambitious, too difficult, or too early. Seeing how far M7 has come makes us even more grateful to the health system partners, investors, and advisors who took a chance on two students with a big vision, a nurse’s firsthand perspective, and a whole lot of grit. We’re grateful for everything we have learned from you and honored to continue serving our customers at a much larger scale in the years to come. A heartfelt thank you to M7’s team. I’m humbled to work every day alongside the smartest, most mission-driven, and inspiring group of engineers, PMs, operators, nurses (!), GTM experts, and strategists. This is a well-earned opportunity to celebrate what we’ve accomplished together, but we have so much more to build and so much more impact to make in the years ahead. Stay tuned for lots more exciting news from M7 soon!

Daniel Fine liked thisDaniel Fine liked thisI’ll be at #YOTTA2026 in Vegas next week with Nicholas Selz and our Advisors Joseph Kava and Phill Lawson-Shanks. At Yotta, we’ll be spending time with leaders across AI, energy and digital infrastructure, discussing what this next wave of growth means for how we plan, build and deliver. At Kaya AI, we’re focused on making complex infrastructure delivery more connected, visible and predictable. We’ve got some exciting launches coming that take this vision even further. As this next generation of infrastructure takes shape, the opportunity isn’t just to build more. It’s to build better, for the teams delivering it and the communities it ultimately serves. If you’re at Yotta, we’d love to meet in person. Drop me a message and let’s find a time to connect.

Daniel Fine liked thisDaniel Fine liked thisSix years (plus one day) ago I started at Ramp. We had been live for half a year, with a single product in a single market. Over the years we've had many things to celebrate -- new products, new team members, new milestones -- but today's news is extra fun, because it hits so close to home (literally). Today, we're announcing that Ramp is available to all businesses in the UK. This is our first step into Europe, and we couldn't be more excited. As excited as we are we are also sorry. Because frankly, we're late. To make sure our apology was heard we took out an ad in the FT. We regret the error, and hope to make it up to you by doing what we do best - saving you and your business time and money. Incredibly fun to work on this with our UK team. If you think Ramp can help, they'd love to take care of you -- Eric Oancea, Michael Mulqueen, Jade Neser, Ezer Amanuel, Sam Kellard, Isabelle Fayad, Luca Feser, Robbie Wendin, Nick Crossan, Dennis Child, Pravika Joshi, Anne Stonecipher, Niklas Bothén, Leanne Penny, Laura S., Melanie Gonzalez, Sherry Sahlin, Erik Malm, Vida H.. And a big shoutout to the brilliant team behind this campaign -- you can't beat people who are having fun! Tim Fellowes, Sabrina Norman, Ashley N., Burak Aslan, Lindsay McKinley, Alexa Jacques, Zain Khoja, Jack Beveridge, Chris Witmer, and many many more!

Daniel Fine liked thisOver the past year our team criss-crossed the country working with operators, system integrators, roboticists, manufacturers, and transit authorities. Reindustrialization and physical AI are landing on top of an industrial base that is already at capacity. Securing it needs a different approach. This is why we are building Ironloop now.Daniel Fine liked thisToday is Day 0. Over the past year, I’ve been humbled. The sheer breadth and complexity of America’s industrial stack are incredible. I’ve seen nuclear reactors, autonomous robots, marine sensors, ports, manufacturing lines producing goods that protect the people of this country, and much, much more. I’ve traveled to Texas, California, Ohio, Illinois, DC, Maryland, Nevada, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Florida, and I feel more confident than ever in the people who build things here. And yet, the industrial foundation our society rests on is at risk. Nation-states actively threaten our critical infrastructure. AI offers tremendous promise, but it also introduces cybersecurity risks that we cannot ignore. Now, more than ever, we must consider the safety and security of the infrastructure we all rely on. That is why Ironloop must be built now. We are building the foundation that will secure our industrial future. https://lnkd.in/e9ES_6e6

Daniel Fine liked thisDaniel Fine liked thisSome personal news: after an incredible run at Brex, I’m starting a new chapter as VP of Global Partnerships at Cognition, leading Partnerships and M&A. Eight years ago, I joined Brex as employee #84, following the legendary Michael B. Tannenbaum, who told me “fintech was it.” At the time, I barely knew what interchange was. Every day since then has been a wild ride. Besides being the most formative chapter of my career to date, Brex was so much fun, so much work and so much personal growth. As I move on, I have deep gratitude for Pedro Franceschi and Henrique Dubugras for taking a chance on me to be their first “BD guy”. But the reason I stayed so long was because of the rest of the team. I learned so much from this crew, about Sales from Sam Blond and Garrett Marker, about Finance from Michael B. Tannenbaum and Erica Dorfman, about Ops from Camilla Matias and Ben Gammell, about Product from Dinesh Seemakurty and James Reggio and so much more along the way. We went from a tiny team offering credit cards to startups to a company processing tens of billions in spend for the world's largest enterprises. Now Brex is part of one of the most respected financial institutions in the world. Proud doesn't even begin to cover it. At the center of it all were our partners. I was lucky enough to help structure deals with the likes of JetBlue, AWS, Apple, Slack, Navan, Zip, Coupa, Oracle, Fifth Third and finally Capital One. All of which delighted our customers. That was always the goal. I am thrilled to be joining Cognition. The insane ambition and talent density made this the obvious next move for me. Devin is the future of software engineering and the partnerships that get built now will decide who wins the category.🚀

This week Tulip Interfaces became Acequia Capital's 23rd unicorn company. When we made the first investment into Tulip in 2015, it was clear to Hank and I that we were early. It was going to take some time, but that massive legacy industries had no idea the amount of innovation and value was out there, waiting to be won by companies that could master software and machine intelligence. These observations and others led us to develop two investment theses we’ve been executing on since; what we termed “New Industrials.” Fast forward 10 years and the idea that a broader industrial reinvention is underway is now almost a given across the capital markets and leading companies. A movement has sprung up around us. It’s much more in vogue to back physical technology startups now, but most investors misunderstand what great ones look like, and how numerous the barriers to adoption are. We’re fortunate to benefit from a decade of lessons and insights from watching up close as incredible founding teams have built immensely valuable organizations, these include Stoke Space, Radiant, Formlabs, Atomic Industries, Applied Atomics, Harbinger, Dirac, Inc., Rainmaker Technology Corporation, AnySignal, EthonAI, Flow Engineering, Milvus Advanced, Rivelin Robotics, Adaptyv, KMB Telematics Inc., Tactian, Nimble Precision, sensmore, Hyperdrives, Ethos Space Resources, Antaris, TransAstra, Rightbot Technologies, Provectus Algae, Arctoris, Flexe, Coronal Technologies, Exapto, Visolis, Vorticity Inc., XENOPS AI, and many others. My takeaway from 10 years of investing in industrial reinvention is that we are still at the beginning. We have a long way to go and the next 10 years will move a lot faster than the last. Thanks to our founders for the continued trust and partnership.
