Gilbert Lee reacted on thisMy first impression of Torus was seeing a flyer stapled to an electrical pole for an Olympic Watch Party while walking my dog. Later that month, I went to some sessions at Utah Tech Week and noticed Torus listed as a sponsor for the event. Before I knew anything about Torus, I remember thinking, man, these guys really love Salt Lake City. And I was right, but that was just a little piece of the whole pie. What I've now seen is that this is how Torus shows up, everywhere and every time, because people and community are at the heart of all the work we do. Read more on this. Gilbert Lee reacted on thisGilbert Lee reacted on thisSix months ago we brought GigaOne online, our 545,000-square-foot facility in Salt Lake City built to manufacture energy infrastructure at gigawatt scale. This week we set a new weekly production record, improving output by more than 76% across the company, with new buildout still underway. Demand for power is rising faster than utilities can build new plants and transmission lines. Most of the grid's capacity sits unused outside of peak hours. While my discipline has changed, that core desire to understand how things work hasn’t. In law, this looks like understanding the difference between rules nature enforces and rules people invented, to know which one you're actually up against. Spend time early building an understanding of why you are making the decisions you are. Set the system before the components.
