Niki Hall shared thisToday, Supio released our 2026 State of AI in Plaintiff Law Report: The AI Adoption Gap. The number that stood out most: 78% of firms have engaged with AI, but only 30% actually use it regularly. Trust is the reason for the gap. 99% of attorneys won't use AI output they can't verify, and 96% are very or extremely concerned about content that can't be traced to a source. 79% reject fully autonomous AI outright, wanting their own judgment in the review process every time. Attorneys carry a fiduciary duty to their clients, and new technology doesn't change that standard. Unverifiable AI doesn't help them win cases. It slows down work that's already racing a tight timeline, and it can cost clients real settlement value. Firms are ready for AI. What they need is trust earned fact by fact, built on a knowledge base they can verify. That's what actually changes outcomes for clients. At the same time, 75% of firms report operating at or beyond capacity, and 57% still need a week or more to produce a demand letter. The biggest barrier to adoption is trust. Nearly every respondent said they won't use AI-generated content they can't verify, and 96% are concerned about untraceable AI output. Attorneys want AI they can rely on, not just AI that works fast. Niki Hall shared thisA significant change has occurred in personal injury law in California as of January 1, and it deserves more attention. Senate Bill 371 has drastically reduced uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage for rideshare passengers from $1 million to $60,000 per person, representing a nearly 94% decrease. While this does not impact all accident coverage, it significantly diminishes the safety net for injured passengers in cases involving uninsured drivers. The implications for rideshare litigation, settlement dynamics, and case structuring could be profound. Here are key points to consider: 1. Rideshare cases now necessitate a comprehensive financial assessment at intake. The coverage certainty that existed prior to January 1 is no longer available. 2. An upcoming Uber-backed ballot initiative this November may further cap plaintiff attorney fees and limit medical cost recovery across all vehicle accident cases in California, extending beyond just rideshare. 3. If this initiative passes, it could serve as a model for other states. Niki Hall liked thisNiki Hall liked this15 months. $279k in LinkedIn ad spend. $9.4M in pipeline. $1.9M in closed/won revenue. Before anyone reads too much into those numbers, I want to tell you exactly what we did, because it's not what people expect. When I came into Cocoon (who just got acquired) as their fractional head of growth, their ads weren't broken in some complex, unfixable way. Their audiences were wrong. They were targeting titles that had nothing to do with their ICP, hitting a bunch of unnecessary job functions, wasting impressions on people who would never convert, trying to convert cold audiences directly to demos. The basics were just off. So the first three months were almost entirely spent fixing the basics. Tighter audiences, better creative, ads that functioned the way they were supposed to. That's where the work started. From there we moved into ABM and some GTM engineering with outreach, but the bulk of their revenue came from paid work that just got done properly. Now, the thing I want to be clear about: LinkedIn doesn't produce numbers like this for every company. Cocoon's audience just lives on LinkedIn. Before I committed to anything on their ad strategy, I built their TAM list and ran a perfectly matched audience for one week just to see how many of those people we could even reach on the platform in seven days. The number came back strong. That's when I knew the spend would work the way it did. Run the one-week reach test before you commit budget to any platform. If your audience can't be reached on a weekly basis, you're not going to build the frequency you need for any of it to land. For Cocoon, the audience was there, and the basics got fixed. Q1 goal was $1.3M in pipeline. Hit it two weeks before the quarter ended. Nice 👍 (Also not sponsored but shoutout to Adam and Fibbler for making this reporting a WHOLE lot easier)

When I joined NVIDIA, my focus was digital experience and activation. Since then, the work has expanded across web, media, social, CRM, data, marketing operations and now AI transformation. The technology, the company and the scope of what we’re building have changed tremendously. But one thing has remained consistent: the opportunity to work with smart, driven people who take on hard problems, challenge old ways of working and keep raising the bar. I’ve learned a lot over the past decade—about transformation, leadership, building global teams and how much progress is possible when talented people share a clear purpose. Ten years in, I’m still learning, still challenged and still excited about what we’re building next.

Nearly three years ago I made the move from London to Portugal to join Five9's growing international marketing team. It's been one of the best decisions I've made, professionally and personally. Not to mention having the opportunity to live in beautiful Porto (and now sunny Lisboa!).
