But planning requires more context: which teams and projects are driving usage, which models are affecting cost, how token consumption is changing, and whether the investment is producing value. ✨ We’re introducing Drivetrain AI Spend Intelligence and Forecasting. It brings together: 📊 AI spend and usage analytics** see total spend, active projects, and API keys; drill into cost by provider, model, project, owner, or individual API key; track token volume and blended cost per 1,000 tokens over time. Budgeting and forecasting** — compare actual spend with budget, see a 12-month forecast, and model how usage growth, headcount growth, model mix, and spend limits change future spend. 📈 Productivity and outcome reporting** — connect AI investment to engineering activity such as Claude Code sessions, commits, and pull requests; track efficiency through cost per session or commit; and assess the business value created.
