It is Scott Russell's NiCE now! The replacement of the #CX dream team: CEO Barak Eilam (gone), CMO Einat Weiss (departed and then replaced by Michelle Cooper), and President CX Barry Cooper (retiring) is complete. Jeff Comstock was named President of CX Product and Technology (effective Oct 1). New faces and roles/scopes slightly changed. Rough waters ahead? Jeff was named to Barry's role last week; Barry's retirement was announced this week. Not the lockstep Nice we are accustomed to. Also concerned that none of these new execs were internal promotions. Have they read Built to Last? A little concerned for NiCE Cognigy as Barry drove that acquisition. Reminds me a little of Rowen Trollope at Cisco driving the acquisition of Broadsoft just before his departure. The annual Nice analyst summit is weeks away—great opportunity for Jeff to get exposure to his new role. I really do hope these developments play out well for Nice and Barry. Nice is the undisputed leader of the CCaaS space. I met Scott and Michelle at Nice Interactions, and they impressed me. But that was partly because Barry was there. I'm concerned because the execs and company culture that allowed Nice to separate from the pack are rapidly changing.

Expected no? With new leadership comes new strategic direction and a new team. I will miss the old team very much as it was a fascinating journey - being the visionary and setting new trends. I suppose now as is the time for change as the industry moves towards a new direction. Change in leadership is quite widespread across other vendors too.

Hi Dave! Do you know if they announced Barry's retirement publicly?

I always say -- If you don't like growth and change, then enterprise software isn't for you. From where I sit, every move Scott has made has worked out well for me personally as a seller (191% of quota so far this year). And Cognigy is so dang impressive!

Dave, Nice is just NOT the undisputed leader in CCaaS. They are neck and neck with Genesys..and I think most would say that is fair assessment. There we're 2500+ Genesys Customers who were just recently in Nashville at Xperience...singing praises of Genesys and the stability of their leadership, AI focus, and partner ecosystem. Sorry you were not there to see and hear what is going on with Genesys.

You are spot on Barry and Barak will be missed but Scott is looking at doubling the revenue, he is building the organisation for the next goal.

You have people that can take companies from 100 million to 3 billion and those that can take companies from 3 billion to 10 billion. I like our chances with the new leadership. The teams are bullish and have the back of the leadership team. Excited for the NiCE things to come.
