In this special edition of Amazon News, we're taking you inside our 2025 Devices & Services event in NYC where we just announced some of our biggest innovations of the year.

Customer-favorite Amazon devices like Echo, Kindle, and Ring have gotten major upgrades; enabling ambient AI experiences that fade into the background of daily life. This is technology made to feel effortless, natural, almost invisible. While Alexa+ is central to this vision, the intelligence extends across all Amazon devices.

See how these new product innovations will make customers' lives easier.

Amazon unveils the next generation of AI-powered Echo devices

The all new Echo product lineup on a wooden counter.

Amazon introduced four new Echo devices today, purpose-built for Alexa+. The all-new Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, Echo Show 8, and Echo Show 11 are the most advanced Echo devices ever built. They feature custom silicon and leverage Omnisense, our advanced sensor fusion platform that lets Alexa anticipate your needs and help you take action—like delivering a personalized reminder when a specific person walks in the room or a proactive alert that your garage door is unlocked and it’s after 10 p.m.

We’ve completely reimagined this hardware with a new modern look and built an all-new audio architecture across these devices to deliver deep, rich bass and crisp highs that bring your favorite music to life. With millions of customers already in Alexa+ Early Access, Amazon is clearly doubling down on ambient AI.

The devices are available for pre-order today and come with Alexa+ out of the box.

A color Kindle Scribe with AI-powered search could fundamentally change how we interact with digital notes – suddenly every handwritten idea becomes instantly discoverable. This feels less like an incremental update and more like bridging the gap between analog creativity and digital utility.
