HOW TO ENTER

Awards Criteria

When completing your entry, include a 350–900 word synopsis with these sections (as applicable):

  • Goals: What did you set out to achieve through your media relations efforts? (Coverage, awareness, reputation, relationships, influence, etc.)
  • Strategy and Tactics: How did you plan to secure coverage and shape the narrative? (Media outreach, journalist relationships, pitching, messaging, creative angles.)
  • Execution: What brought your plan to life? (Press releases, pitches, events, activations, content, digital initiatives, partnerships.)
  • Evaluation/Results: How did you measure success? (Media placements, brand awareness, reputation, sentiment, relationships, ROI.)

What judges want to see: Clear objectives, innovative strategy, smart execution, measurable results, and alignment with the category descriptions.

Supporting materials: Press releases, media lists, pitch examples, coverage reports, analytics, testimonials, videos, or other documentation. Proprietary documents can be uploaded and will remain confidential.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

These awards are open to in-house, agency and independent communication practitioners in the private, corporate, nonprofit and government sectors. Enter your work, the work of your organization or submit entries on behalf of your client.

Companies from around the world are welcome to enter as long as the entry is submitted in English.

This year’s program is open to any work executed between Nov. 1, 2024, and Nov. 14, 2025, inclusive.

ENTRY FEES

The fee for this program is $550 per entry into standard categories, and $600 per entry into Awards of Distinction categories.

A late fee of $325 per entry will be added to all entries received after 11:59 p.m. Central time, Nov. 15, 2024.

Do you have a campaign, project, individual or team you'd like to enter into multiple categories? Pay the original entry fee, and then only $250 for each additional category!

WHO CAN ENTER THESE AWARDS?
Entries are open to organizations, agencies and individuals worldwide. The program welcomes in-house teams, agencies, independent practitioners and vendors across corporate, nonprofit and government sectors. Entries must be submitted in English.
CAN I ENTER TWO OR MORE CATEGORIES?
Yes. You are encouraged to enter multiple categories, as each submission is judged independently. Discounted pricing applies to your second entry and beyond, increasing your opportunities for recognition.
WHAT DO THE JUDGES LOOK FOR IN ENTRIES?
Judges seek bold, strategic and results-driven work that demonstrates media relations excellence. Strong entries define objectives clearly, showcase originality, highlight measurable outcomes and include supporting materials such as press coverage, pitches, multimedia content or campaign collateral. WHY ARE SOME DEADLINES EXTENDED?
We extend deadlines based on applicant needs and to accommodate promotional opportunities.
WHEN WILL I FIND OUT RESULTS?
All entrants will be notified of their status approximately three months after the final entry deadline. Finalists will be recognized—and winners revealed—at a live event in 2026.
