NYC to screen ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ for free: Here’s when
MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Let’s do the “Time Warp!”
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the cult classic film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” will be screened in the Meatpacking District.
“Do the Time Warp with us on the cobblestones as we celebrate 50 years of Richard O’Brien’s legendary cult classic musical on the big screen,” reads the Eventbrite.
The movie will be shown on Monday, October 20, at Gansevoort Plaza, located at Ninth Avenue and Gansevoort Street. This event is in partnership with the Meatpacking District Business Improvement District and NYC Council Member Erik Bottcher.
Seating for the film begins at 5:30 p.m., with the screening starting at 6:30 p.m.
Seating is first-come, first-served.
Costumes are highly encouraged but not required. Screening props such as rice, toilet paper, newspapers, and playing cards will be prohibited.
