Neuroplasticity exists. If you don't like your life or career as an adult you can just learn new things. As long as you aren't an idiot and plan things long term, you can try your hand at pretty much anything that doesn't require the body of a teenager / early 20s athleticism.

I'm quite close to building the first version of an incremental semantic engine for law which maps formal logic onto natural language. It's something I've dreamed about for over a decade and predates modern AI. Pretty exciting.
