I’m running for Congress! We’re at a critical moment in our nation’s history. As a pastor, I know this moment is calling me - and all of us - to stand up. I’m asking you to join me in this campaign: sarahforiowa.com youtu.be/dz0QHVQZybk

US gas hit $4.11 yesterday and $3.84 by my house in Iowa. We're getting crushed at the pump while big oil has record profits. This is ridiculous. In Congress, I’ll join the effort to make sure oil companies pay their fair share in taxes.

Congrats to Teamsters Local 90 and UnityPoint nurses for securing the ability to collectively bargain for their workers. In Congress, I’ll be a proud co-sponsor of the PRO Act to make it easier for workers to unionize and get the pay they deserve.

Today marks 61 years of Medicaid. It keeps hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics open across our district, but Zach Nunn voted to cut nearly $1 trillion from it. Now Iowans face higher premiums and clinics closing. In Congress, I’ll fight to reverse those cuts.
