Imagine that - they finally did it!
57 years after the moon landing. Years after Russia, China, Japan, India, Australia - did I miss anyone? Not reusable, a one & done. Yes, they have other projects underway - but how far behind are you? EU/ESA funding fragmented efforts by different national interests. No critical mass in one effort? Not a model for success?

Europe has landed on a moon of Saturn, on a comet, has a spacecraft about to arrive at Mercury, has its own (and more accurate) GPS constellation, runs the Copernicus observation satellites, has spacecraft enroute to Jupiter, and a gravitational wave observatory planned for launch in the coming years.

Maybe inform yourself before making such idiotic comments.
