Really interesting findings released today by The Reading Agency 📚👀 We're proud to support them and their campaign to #RedefineReading - because all forms of reading are valid!
Our latest State of the Nation report reveals that millions of adults in the UK read every day, but nearly half don’t call themselves “readers.” Britain’s reading crisis is not about appetite, but about identity. As we head into the National Year of Reading, we’re asking people to join us in broadening the definition of what it means to be a reader.

📣 Enter the Bloomsbury Mentorship Programme by 10 October! 📣 Bloomsbury Publishing is one of the UK’s leading publishers of fiction – and we aim to publish stories that represent the diversity of people in this country. But there are multiple barriers to book publishing, particularly for people from backgrounds underrepresented in publishing. We want to help change the future of publishing so you can tell the stories that reflect our community. And we want to properly support our authors in this work. But we can’t create this change alone. We need you. Enter the programme by 10 October by submitting your writing here: https://lnkd.in/exrNUea6 #BloomsburyMentorshipProgramme #PublishingMentorship #FictionWriters #UnderrepresentedWriters #UnrepresentedWriters
