For builders and their agents who build and want to share stuff

Turn your agent into an on-brand visual designer.

Make sharp, on-brand visuals for everything you build and achieve. Design them yourself, or let your agent fill in your templates. Post them consistently and your work gets seen, your story gets told, and your personal brand grows.

The problem

Building is fun. Marketing is hard.

You built or achieved something great, but you hate marketing. Not because you have nothing to tell, you just don't like to design the visual story in Figma or Canva.

❌ Your work stays invisible.
❌ Your milestones pass in silence.
❌ Your content gets scrolled past.
📉 Your personal brand stops growing.

Successful builders do it differently.

They showcase six things, consistently, to achieve more visibility and grow online.

With Monocards each one is a template away.

The payoff

Visuals that grow your brand.

Visuals travel further than plain text: they stop the scroll, get shared, and make you instantly recognizable. Post them consistently and the effect compounds: more reach, more feedback, more recognition, more authority. That is the turning point Monocards is built for.

✅ Your work gets seen.
✅ Your milestones get celebrated.
✅ Your content stops the scroll.
📈 Your personal brand starts growing.

How it works

From input to visual in 2 clicks.

Lock in your brand. Once.

Style one card with your colors and fonts, then save that look as your template. From that moment every card starts on-brand before you type a word. Yours, and your agent's. A chart, a checklist and a countdown come out looking like family.

Three cards, one template

One card, three templates

Type it. It's already designed.

Four steps from content to card, and none of them is design work.

01 Pick your card type

Every card type knows what it needs, from charts and stats to mockups and tier lists.

02 Edit the content

Your numbers, your text, your screenshot. Layout, type and color are already handled.

03 Select template

One design system across all 18 card types. Pick a template and the whole look follows.

04 Export design

PNG, JPEG or vector PDF, one size or every social size at once. Or drag it straight into your post.

Your agent does not design here. It fills in your template.

Tell your agent what happened. It types the content into the template you locked in, so agent-made cards look like you made them: same fonts, same colors, same layout.

Nothing is generated by AI. Monocards draws every card on your Mac through a local MCP server, so there is no image model, no API key and no token cost, and it keeps working offline.

Things people ask their agent

  • "Make a launch checklist and tick off what we shipped today."

  • "Chart this CSV of weekly signups, terminal template, landscape."

  • "Make my Friday week-in-numbers card from the analytics."

  • "Turn this update into an X post mockup for the launch thread."

  • "Turn this support-inbox quote into a testimonial card."

  • "Countdown to launch day for tomorrow's post, pop template."

Who uses Monocards?

People who'd rather ship the work than design the post.

Builders who share

Your launch, your numbers, your milestones. The card is ready before the post is.

Product teams

The release note, the sprint timeline, the store screenshot. Shipped to every channel you report in.

Reports at work

The monthly chart, the comparison table, the status list. Sharper than anything the slide deck makes.

The marketing you do yourself

Social proof, quotes and comparisons, no designer needed. Lock in one look, reuse it every week.

A card for everything worth sharing.

Purpose-built, not a blank canvas. Every card type ships with samples and templates.

Your drafts never leave your Mac.

Design tools live in the cloud. Monocards doesn't:

On-device rendering · No account · No cloud in between

Designs, templates and screenshots render on your Mac and never leave it. No login, no signup, nothing to cancel later.

Why not an online generator, Figma or Canva?

The canvases start every update from zero. The online generators bury a quick card under ads and accounts. Monocards starts from your template.

Comparison card: Monocards designs in seconds, works fully offline, keeps data on your Mac, is a one-time purchase without account, tracking or ads; online generators are fast and account-free but miss the rest, and Canva or Figma share only the templates, the MCP and the absence of ads.

Wim Van Buynder, maker of Monocards

A note from the maker

Why I built Monocards

Hi, I'm Wim. I have been a developer for more than twenty years. From 2014 to 2024 I ran a mobile app agency with a team of thirty, building apps for our clients. We shipped our own apps too, and Apple featured four of them worldwide. In all those years there was always a designer nearby to help tell the story, our clients' and our own.

Since 2025 I build solo, and for the first time I felt how hard it is to keep my own marketing looking consistent. Every update meant designing something from scratch, so too often I just did not share it. Monocards is my answer: lock in the brand once, and every card since has come from the same hand. Mine, without the block.

Questions, answered straight.

Is there a free trial?

No. Monocards needs a license to run, so there is nothing to try before you buy. Instead, every purchase comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee: get your key from the activation screen, use the whole app on your own Mac, and one mail gets your money back if it is not for you.

What do I get with a license?

The whole app. All 18 card types, your identity prefilled on every new card, reusable layouts as templates, your agent designing through the local MCP, and export to PNG, JPEG, PDF, MP4 and GIF. No account, no cloud, works offline.

Is this a subscription?

No. One purchase, yours forever, with one year of updates included. Renewing at a discount is optional. Skip it and every version you already have keeps working, forever. Nothing breaks and nothing downgrades.

How is this different from Canva or Figma?

Those are canvases, great for design work but slow for a 30-second share. Monocards gives you purpose-built cards with the design already done: you type the content, the template carries the look. Native, local and one-time instead of browser, cloud and subscription.

Which macOS versions?

macOS 15 or newer.

Mac App Store or direct download?

Direct download, signed and notarized. Updates arrive in-app through Sparkle, the standard used by most indie Mac apps.

What data do you collect?

Your content: none, ever. Cards render on your Mac and are never uploaded. The app shares anonymous crash reports and usage statistics, each with an off switch in Settings. The website counts visits anonymously by default; accepting the banner only sets one first-party identifier so a visit can be connected to a download.

Does Monocards use AI to generate the visuals?

No. Every card is drawn by the app itself from your template, so you always get the same fonts, colors and layout. Your agent only supplies the content through the built-in MCP server, which runs locally. There is no image model, no API key and no token cost, and card rendering works offline.

How does the agent integration work?

The app bundles an MCP server and a CLI. Connect Claude Desktop or Claude Code with one copy-paste from Settings, and your agent creates on-brand cards locally, with no cloud in between. See the agent docs for recipes.

Can I use my own fonts, colors and logo?

Yes. Style a card with your colors and fonts, save that look as a template, and reuse it on every card type.

Do you offer team licenses?

Yes, from 3 Macs at a per-Mac price. Each person gets their own key, and seats are self-service: deactivate on one Mac to free the seat for another.
