What movie is this scene from? Three men wearing cowboy hats accost a waitress. A man in a suit and tie asks them to leave her alone. One of the men points his gun at him, but the suited man grabs the gun and kicks him in the groin, draws his own gun and shoots another in the foot, and tells the third man to put his gun down and sit down.

@Paulie_D To be fair to OP, if they viewed this as a YouTube short at youtube.com/shorts/, the description doesn't display easily. You have to click on the lower part of the video to see it. Commented 2 days ago

It's actually from Twin Peaks S3E18 (2017); about halfway through the episode. Fire Walk with Me came out in 1992 and the actor playing Agent Cooper, Kyle MacLachlan, was much younger back then than he is in this scene. Commented 2 days ago

@LogicDictates I see. So it makes more sense that OP is asking about the video. The video description is wrong. Commented 2 days ago

@galacticninja Yes, I saw a Youtube clip -- all I know about it. ==== That's why I was voted down? Because I didn't know it was a movie and not a TV show? Commented yesterday

I didn't downvote; I actually upvoted. As for the downvotes, some users probably thought the question lacked research because the YouTube video description mentioned a movie name (which was incorrect, as LogicDictates' answer confirmed). Relevant meta post: Why was this ID question about a YouTube video deleted by a moderator? Commented yesterday

That clip is from "What Is Your Name?" (Sep 4, 2017), S03E18 of Twin Peaks.

Twin Peaks is an American surrealist mystery-horror drama television series created by David Lynch and Mark Frost. It premiered on ABC on April 8, 1990, and ran for two seasons until its cancellation in 1991. The show returned in 2017 for a third season on Showtime.

Set in the fictional Pacific Northwest town of Twin Peaks, the series follows an investigation led by FBI special agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) into the murder of local teenager Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee).

As noted above, the third season of the show was released 25 years after the season 2 finale. It is also set 25 years later, in-universe.

The protagonist of the scene, FBI special agent Dale Cooper, is played by Kyle MacLachlan, who played the same character in the first two seasons.

The scene in question — which occurs at around 28 minutes into the episode — is recounted thusly on the episode's Wikipedia page:

Cooper drives to Odessa, Texas; while driving, he finds a diner named "Judy's." There he stops three men in cowboy hats (Matt Battaglia, Heath Hensley and Rob Mars) harassing a waitress, Kristi (Francesca Eastwood).
