The Title IX Office has oversight of the university’s compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities. The office responds to reports of sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking, provides supportive measures, and works with campus partners to promote a fair and safe educational and work environment.

For incidents of abuse or neglect of minors, Arkansas law requires reporting to the Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-482-5964). University employees and volunteers must also report such instances to the University of Arkansas Police Department.
