Beginning in 2007, interior designer Patrick Printy and his longtime partner, Dan Holland, acquired three vacant parcels spanning 16 acres in Sonoma County’s bucolic countryside for nearly $1.4 million. Over the ensuing years, the couple crafted a deeply personal retreat anchored by a striking Cape Dutch-inspired main home complemented by a rustic barn and a guest residence.

Printy, a former art director who styled sets and catalogs for brands from Pottery Barn to Williams Sonoma, and Holland, a corporate psychologist, have now put their turnkey, fully furnished estate near the charming village of Glen Ellen on the market for $12 million. Tina Shone of Sotheby’s International Realty-Wine Country, Sonoma Brokerage holds the listing.

The symmetrical, whitewashed primary residence features three bedrooms and an equal number of bathrooms in roughly 3,000 square feet. A curvilinear central gable rises above the front entrance, which is playfully flanked by ceramic Dalmatian statues. Inside, three levels curated in Printy’s signature maximalist style showcase reclaimed oak floors and beams sourced from historic Midwestern barns, along with imported Witjes tiles and handcrafted cabinetry by the Dutch artisan Johannes Vanmourik.

The centerpiece is a soaring great room sporting a stately limestone fireplace, adjoined by a dining area and a farmhouse-style kitchen outfitted with an antique reclaimed-wood island and an array of premium appliances. Other highlights include a bookshelf-lined library, a fitness studio, a climatized wine cellar, and a lofty primary suite that has a bath adorned with hand-painted terracotta tile.
