Everything seemed to be going UCF's way as the Knights took an early lead against visiting Kansas on Saturday, boasting a double-digit advantage. To make matters worse, UCF saw its starting quarterback, Tayven Jackson, leave the game with an apparent arm injury in the fourth quarter. “It's disappointing, but I'm proud of the way our guys kept battling,” coach Scott Frost said following the loss. UCF (3-2, 0-2 Big 12) suffered its second consecutive defeat and its fifth straight loss in Big 12 games.
