From the Air and Sea: Air and Marine Operations

Air and Marine Operations (AMO) safeguard our Nation by anticipating and confronting security threats through our aviation and maritime law enforcement expertise, innovative capabilities and partnerships at the border patrol.

Air and Marine Operations (AMO) conduct its mission across the air and maritime environments, operating at and beyond the U.S. border and within the nation's interior. This is achieved with federal agents and mission support personnel, aircraft and marine vessels deployed throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The key functions of AMO include interdicting unlawful people and cargo approaching U.S. borders, investigating criminal networks, providing comprehensive domain awareness in air and maritime domains and responding effectively to contingencies and national taskings.
