CBDfx products are made from industrial hemp and comply with the 2018 Farm Bill, meaning they contain less than 0.3% delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). However, it’s important to note that using products that contain delta-9 THC (even in trace amounts) may lead to a positive drug test for THC, according to the company.

CBDfx produces high-quality, vegan (except for capsules, which contain gelatin), non-GMO CBD products sourced from organically grown, pesticide-free hemp. They are made in facilities that adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) standards, which are regulations enforced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ensure that products are consistently produced according to quality standards, ensuring their safety, efficacy and potency.

Are CBDfx’s Products Lab Tested By Third Parties?

Yes. After manufacture, CBDfx claims its products are tested eight times by independent, ISO 17025-certified third-party labs for impurities or defects to ensure reliability. Each product manufactured by CBDfx features a traceable QR code linked to its lab report, providing transparency about its production details, including where and when it was made, so consumers can feel confident about the product they are using. Each lab report, called a Certificate of Analysis (COA), is posted on the company’s website for consumer review.

Forbes Health conducted a firsthand review of CBDfx’s original mixed berry CBD gummies in 2024. From purchase to consumption, our tester’s experience was largely positive. The gummies were easy to take, featuring a pleasant aroma and a chewy texture that struck a good balance—neither too hard nor too soft. The mixed berry flavor was enjoyable, with an earthy hemp undertone that wasn’t overpowering.

Over three weeks, the tester consumed a total of 50 milligrams of CBD daily, the daily recommended dosage on the bottle. While the tester noted no drastic changes, they did say there was a general sense of increased relaxation. The convenience of gummies was appreciated, especially compared to the traditional tincture method, which requires holding oil under the tongue for 60 seconds.

However, it’s important to note that sublingual absorption is often deemed more effective than edibles, and new users should consider starting with a low dose and gradually increasing as necessary, as more is not always better.

CBDfx has 3.3 out of 5 stars on Trustpilot based on an average of 75 reviews, with 52% of the company’s reviews being one star, mainly due to issues with shipping and returns.
