Rishikesh Yardi shared thisIt was the height of the pandemic when I joined the Instacart team when grocery delivery became a lifeline for households everywhere. Our journey in shaping, developing, and expanding Instacart's advertising platform has been nothing short of an exhilarating adventure, filled with challenges that tested our mettle. From riding the waves of surging demand during the pandemic to instilling enduring customer habits, proving the magic of our advertising solutions, and even battling the inflation dragon – we've done it all. We've made online grocery delivery a reality for countless households and developed the playbook to make it profitable - I'm incredibly proud of the impactful work this team has accomplished in building out our suite of Ads products! We took another big step and transitioned to becoming a public company yesterday (NASDAQ: CART)

Rishikesh Yardi liked thisRishikesh Yardi liked thisThinkHive is joining Rootly! We started ThinkHive with one conviction. Enterprises will not put AI agents into production until they can ensure reliability when those agents fail. Not in a demo. Not in a sandbox. At scale, with real customers on the other end. Reliability is the unlock for AI adoption. That is the problem we set out to solve, and it is the reason we built what we built. When I first sat down with the Rootly team, it was obvious we had been chasing the same mission from two different directions. Rootly built the incident management platform teams live in when things break: detection, response, on-call, retrospectives, the full lifecycle. Trusted by teams at NVIDIA, DoorDash, Canva, Replit and many more, the kind of companies where seconds of downtime carry real cost and real consequences. Incident management is where reliability is actually won or lost. It is also where an AI SRE has to prove itself, because there is no room to be confidently wrong when the pager is going off. I'm joining JJ Tang and the Rootly team as Head of AI Products.. The mandate is simple: build an AI across the incident lifecycle that on-call engineers actually trust at 3am, one that investigates, correlates, and resolves rather than just summarizing. To our customers, our investors, and the ThinkHive team who made this possible: thank you. This is not the end of the story. It is a much bigger version of it. More to come soon!

Rishikesh Yardi reacted on thisThanks At The Moment Media (ATM) for the chance to share more of my personality than just retail media! I always appreciate a chance to talk about music, my circuitous path toward advertising and tech, and my love of the UK's Taskmaster (the best show around). But of course, we also talk retail media -- including the convergence of media and commerce, the opportunity we have to learn and adapt to new consumer behavior with AI, and how we aim to make it easier to navigate all of these things with the Instacart Ads ecosystem 🥕 Full episode here: https://lnkd.in/gjPtHuanRishikesh Yardi reacted on thisRetail media has a fragmentation problem. Thank you Boteng Y. for proposing me, Yan Avlasov for landing it, and Baiping Wang for providing the mentorship and partnership across countless PRs. Rishikesh Yardi liked thisRishikesh Yardi liked thisJust back from my first Cannes Lions. This is the era of autonomous marketing agents. The signal was impossible to miss. Autonomous marketing agents were top of mind for almost everyone I met. Three things stuck with me: 1. CTV is having a moment. A genuinely incremental channel with a high conversion rate. The appetite to show up on the big screen is real, and there is a lot of room to grow. 2. The human still matters. For all the talk of full automation, I saw very few AI systems running with no human in the loop. The winners blend the agent with the human. That is exactly why high touch is doing so well. 3. Every marketer will have an agent. And it is not a distant future. Real excitement about Notch and the proprietary tech behind our video agent. Across the board, platforms are either building agentic systems within their own products or letting people build agents in the cloud, then racing to figure out how it all talks to one another. A lot of exciting updates are coming up soon. The M&A tells the same story. Bestever to Samba TV. Vibe to Walmart. Topaz to Adobe. All in the same week. The incumbents are moving fast, and they are moving with the new age companies.

It's genuinely fascinating how Product Management (PM) has gone from a niche function to a definitive, mainstream career over the last decade in India. Every major startup, MNC, and digital player needs PMs, a critical element who defines what gets built. The demand? Unquestionable. The salaries? Competitive. Yet, here’s the curious part: Why do our Indian colleges and universities still offer only a handful of dedicated, full-time degree specializations in Product Management? The dominant pathway remains the expensive, mid-career pivot via executive programs or bootcamps, largely bypassing fresh talent. This paradox is only heightened by AI. A year ago, some feared AI would replace PMs. Instead, AI has become the catalyst that makes the role more strategic. By automating the "toil" (drafting documents, analyzing basic feedback), AI is forcing PMs to focus on the truly human elements: Vision, deep user empathy, ethical judgment, and complex stakeholder alignment. The PM role hasn't died; it has simply evolved into a higher-leverage, more critical function. If the future of our digital economy hinges on strategically built products, and the core skill is now strategic leadership (not just documentation), shouldn't we be institutionalizing this discipline from the start? Just a thought... What do you think is holding the traditional academic system back from fully embracing PM? #ProductManagement #IndianTech #HigherEducation #StartupIndia #AI

4 days of Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course cost almost double of my 4 years of engineering. Was it worth it? 1. It gave me the much needed realisation that the the ceiling is very very high on many skills in Product Management. Before the course - I was probably getting too comfortable as I got closer to the local maxima on a bunch of product skills. 2. The content itself is was designed to build conviction & kickstart your learning on a handful of pointed skills - with enough resources to keep going back to, as you work on honing them long term. Building conviction to go deeper is hard and I'm grateful for that. 3. Beyond the content, the course is beautifully structured to take you on a journey to discover, understand and validate these concepts very naturally. No jargon, no theoretical frameworks, and nothing held back in calling a spade a spade wherever needed. Would I recommend it? For Sr. PM and above - If you are willing to put in the effort to grow in your craft, by practising the material everyday, you will unlock tremendous value from the course.

Really excited to see India leading innovation to enable agentic commerce. Razorpay + NPCI launched agentic payments on ChatGPT, and now on Claude too. You'll soon be able to tell Claude "repeat my last week's grocery order from Swiggy" and it just happens. The rails making it possible: UPI Reserve Pay lets an AI block and debit funds on your behalf. UPI Circle lets you delegate payments to an agent, no OTP required. In India, where payment trust is hard-earned and deeply personal, this is a catalyst for agentic commerce. #Fintech #Payments #AgenticCommerce #AIPayments #UPI #Razorpay
