Saar Gur reposted thisSaar Gur reposted thisFor the past 12 years, Forbes and TrueBridge Capital Partners have worked together to highlight the next generation of unicorns. We're incredibly proud that Lotus AI and Outtake made this year's list. Congrats to KJ Dhaliwal, Alex Arjun Dhillon and their teams.

Saar Gur reposted thisSaar Gur reposted thisLotus Health was just named to the Forbes Next Billion-Dollar Startups 2026 list. I grew up translating doctor visits into Punjabi for my immigrant parents. At 18, I herniated two discs and learned firsthand how broken, confusing, and expensive American healthcare is when you don't have someone to guide you. That's why we built Lotus: 24/7 primary care powered by AI and real licensed physicians, available in 50+ languages. Our doctors can care for 10x the patients of a traditional practice. 60% of the companies on this list historically go on to become unicorns. Duolingo and DoorDash were on it once. But honestly, the number I care about most isn't the valuation. It's the number of people who get a doctor for the first time. Grateful to my team who show up every day like it's day one, our physicians, our patients, and our investors at CRV and Kleiner Perkins who believed early. We're just getting started on our vision of infinite care for all. Full list in the comments.

Saar Gur reposted thisSaar Gur reposted this90 days in at Jeeves. What does liftoff look like? Before I joined, Dileep Thazhmon and I kept coming back to the same idea: the bottleneck in stablecoin adoption isn't the rails. It's trust and distribution. Most players are building rails with no one to ride them. Jeeves already had the riders: a global enterprise customer base across 25 countries, moving real money across borders, every day. The bet was simple. Pair infrastructure that took us years to build, including our own ledger across 25 countries, with existing distribution across real enterprise customers. Growth becomes inevitable. But a thesis doesn't execute itself. What turns a thesis into a chart like this is the team behind it: the people (Kunal Malhotra, Pedro Juan Isaza, Sateesh Kodati, among many others) at Jeeves who were quietly building the right product for the right customers, way before stablecoins were "cool". The proof is in the use cases already live: 🇲🇽 One of the largest logistics providers in Mexico using our stablecoin payouts to China 🇦🇷 Argentine businesses spending internationally on cards, settled in stablecoins in seconds 🇧🇷 Brazilian ecommerce companies getting paid via ACH or Fedwire in the US, no US entity required These aren't pilots. These are real businesses solving real cross-border problems, today. June volume grew 70%+ over May. In just 90 days, our stablecoin TPV has grown triple digits. This is what compounding feels like. We're just getting started 🚀

Saar Gur shared thisTHRILLED to have my partner Reid Christian get the recognition he deserves as a newly minted Midas List VC! As one of the youngest on the Midas list he is an incredible investor, partner and human. Congrats @reidRMC ! So grateful for you!!!! And I know this is the first of many!Saar Gur shared thisProud to rep CRV on the Midas list of top 100 VCs! Got a few rungs to climb but a huge thank you to the founders I work with. Venture is a funny job where one investment decision is made, but the blood sweat and tears is largely borne by the founders. Then their success breeds more success for employees and investors, I’m merely in the wake of that. At CRV we think venture is a team sport. The culture, talent and tenacity of this group is what yields being in business with exceptional founders. And a big thanks to Iain Martin at Forbes & TrueBridge Capital Partners for the recognition.

Saar Gur reposted thisSaar Gur reposted thisToday Mercury announced a $200M Series D at a $5.2B valuation, led by TCV, with continued participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue Management, CRV, Sapphire Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Spark Capital, among other new and existing investors. We chose TCV because they have been early growth backers of the most consequential challengers to legacy banking globally, including Revolut, Nubank, and Qonto. They understood Mercury and its potential quickly. This round lands a few weeks after we received conditional OCC approval to charter Mercury Bank, and on the heels of our acquisition of Central to bring AI-native payroll into the Mercury account. Thanks to Neil Tolaney, Sudeep Jandyam and the rest of the team at TCV. As well as Alastair (Alex) Rampell, Dan Rose, Paul Levine, Saar Gur, Sonya Huang, and William Reed for the continued support.

Saar Gur reposted thisSaar Gur reposted thisGreat momentum in the Jeeves core business. Years of infrastructure and product investment are now accelerating revenue growth - supercharged by two macro structural changes in the last 12 months: intelligence leaps with AI, and increasing surface area with stablecoins. A few highlights: • Jeeves has now 3x’d revenue in the last 11 months, including 45%+ growth in the last 90 days. Growth is broad-based across all core regions and all products as we continue to move upmarket and service global enterprises. 6-figure revenue customers ~doubled QoQ. • Multiple product lines are scaling including Payments, with revenue up 65%+ over the last 90 days. More than half of our cross-border payments are now on stablecoin rails - delivering outsized speed, utility, and cost savings for our customers. • Customers are saving time and money by adopting Jeeves agentic workflows in the platform. Our Reconciliation Agent has enabled our customers to automate manual processes, and is delivering usage-based revenues to Jeeves. • Staying fit, and getting fitter. Gross margins are expanding. Our investments in AI intelligence workflows have brought OpEx below Jan 2024 levels, while revenues have ~8x’d. ARR per employee has more than doubled in the last 12 months. At Jeeves, every single day we challenge the status quo in order to save time and money for global enterprises. Come join! https://www.tryjeeves.com/

Saar Gur reposted thisSaar Gur reposted thisToday Mercury received conditional approval from the OCC to establish Mercury Bank, N.A. I started Mercury in 2017 because I wanted to build the bank I wished had existed when I was running my previous startups. I had to go into a bank branch to sign up and call a banker to send a wire. No APIs, no automation. Meanwhile, I watched all the tools a founder needs to run a business get reinvented for the modern era. Banking was the one thing that never got better. The best founders deserve a bank built for how modern companies actually operate. We’ve spent years building a product that helps founders do anything they need to with money: cards, invoicing, bill pay, spend management, accounting automations, intelligence, and real-time financial insights. The national bank charter is what lets us build the bank we’ve always believed was possible. We still have conditions to satisfy and more regulatory approvals to obtain before Mercury Bank opens. Once Mercury Bank becomes fully operational, we’ll be able to deliver new capabilities like Zelle, expanded lending, faster money movement, payment infrastructure we actually control, and more. We’ve closed a lot of the gaps that frustrated me for years. Soon we’ll be able to close them all. Not a bank (for now) disclaimer :) *While we’ve received conditional approval to become a bank, Mercury today is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services provided through Choice Financial Group and Column N.A., Members FDIC.

Saar Gur liked thisSaar Gur liked thisMost critics of Flock change their mind once they understand what the technology does. A Flock LPR focuses on cars and reads license plates. It holds that data for 30 days, unless local legislation dictates something longer or shorter, and then it's deleted. It doesn't recognize faces. It doesn't know who's driving. People rightfully have questions about who owns the data and who has access to it. The customer owns the data, and only the customer can decide who has access to it - some collaborate with other police departments and others choose not to. All of this is highly configurable locally. Accountability is paramount, and every action in Flock is stored in an audit log. Unfortunately there are cases where officers have made bad decisions and broken the law, and that is unacceptable. That is a problem that isn’t reserved to LPR. However, as a result of our ever expanding audit tools, there have been recent prosecutions, proving that it is working. Detecting and then holding people accountable for abuse is by design. LPR solves an incredible amount of serious, time-sensitive crimes, and Flock supported over 1M of those last year. When people get the facts on how Flock ALPR works, the conversation changes. I’ve had hundreds of those conversations. The outcome is almost always the same: "This makes sense. I want my kids to be safe.”

Saar Gur reacted on thisSaar Gur reacted on thisWhen we pitched Tony Xu and Christopher Payne on starting an ads business five years ago, they had one ask: make the product great for all of our customers — dashers, consumers, merchants, and brands. Building an ads business isn’t the hard part. Building one that balances the needs of every stakeholder while growing faster than any other commerce media network in history is. DoorDash's operational rigor is an output of Tony Xu's superpower. No one is better at balancing the needs of every stakeholder while still moving with speed. It’s why he built the best three-sided marketplace in the world and why, as we serve more customers and the worlds of bits and atoms move closer together, there’s no better person to lead us. Saar Gur liked thisWhen Brian Zhan introduced Max Gazor and me to Rakesh Kothari and Sameer Agarwal at Deductive, we knew we had to be in business with them. CRV proudly led their seed round and the rest is history 😊. Congratulations to the whole Deductive team on an amazing outcome today!!Saar Gur liked thisToday, Deductive AI entered into an agreement to be acquired by Elastic. Sameer and I started Deductive in 2023 after watching engineers repeatedly lose nights and weekends to the same problem: something breaks in production, and before anyone can fix it, they have to piece together what happened across logs, dashboards, traces, changes, and code. The fix was rarely the hardest part. The investigation was. And it only became harder as systems grew more complex and distributed. So we built an AI SRE agent that investigates the way a strong on-call engineer would. It connects to an organization’s code, telemetry, and hard-won operational knowledge, then gathers evidence, forms hypotheses, and tests them to find the root cause. Seeing it operate inside real production systems and cut investigations from hours to minutes convinced us that we were onto something very special. Elastic is the right home for what comes next. It is an observability powerhouse, with proven technology for uncovering meaningful entities, relationships, and operational events from raw telemetry at massive scale. Just as importantly, Elastic was built on an open source ethos and a belief in openness, transparency, and customer choice. Bringing Deductive’s AI investigation capabilities together with Elastic’s search and observability platform could fundamentally change how engineers understand and resolve production issues. Building Deductive has been one of the most intense and rewarding experiences of my life. I am deeply grateful to the team that took the leap with us and poured so much of themselves into building something ambitious. I am equally grateful to our customers including DoorDash, Foursquare, and Teradata, who trusted a young company with some of their hardest production problems and helped shape what Deductive became. A special thank you to Max Gazor and the entire CRV team for believing in us early and supporting us every step of the way. I am also incredibly grateful to our other investors, advisors, friends, and families who stood beside us throughout this journey. We couldn’t be more excited to join Elastic and continue pursuing the mission that started Deductive: giving engineers their nights and weekends back. This is the end of one chapter and the beginning of a much bigger one. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e6VgAj_Z

Because the product's grown up faster than our old brand could keep pace with. Saar Gur liked thisSaar Gur liked thisToday is a big day for us. We're launching Glow! For the past eighteen months, this has been my life. Hundreds of conversations with security leaders, late nights with the team, and one belief that kept getting stronger: security teams deserve better than reacting after something goes wrong. Every CISO we met told us the same story in different words. They know the reactive approach is a losing game. AI made it impossible to keep playing - new technology lands on endpoints faster than any team can react, and attackers have frontier AI ready to exploit whatever gets missed. They never had a real alternative. We started Glow to build one. Glow gives security teams something they've never had: knowledge and control of everything that runs on their endpoints, and the ability to prevent risk before it becomes an incident. We raised $180M to make it happen, led by Sequoia Capital, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks, and Redpoint, with participation from Index Ventures, Swish Ventures, Holly Ventures, Operator Collective 🔆, and Lux Capital. Thank you for believing in us before there was anything to believe in. To my cofounders Ophir Arie and Omer Singer, joined by Emily Heath and Arnon Joseph - there's no one I'd rather do this with. And to our team and early customers: you took a chance on us, and everything we build is for you. Day one. Let's Glow! https://lnkd.in/e9vy78_gGlow emerges from stealth at $1.2B valuation to challenge endpoint security in the AI era | TechCrunchGlow emerges from stealth at $1.2B valuation to challenge endpoint security in the AI era | TechCrunch

One of my agentic commerce predictions for 2026 in this recent Forbes piece: Matt Nichols, General Partner at Commerce Ventures, notes that the mechanics are already in motion. Looking ahead, he predicts that this year, "Agentic commerce transaction volume reaches meaningful levels as consumers advance from research to buying on AI platforms. 2026 will be the year that transactions are completed in these platforms." To this prediction, Nichols adds another: retailers will be forced to build "super-feeds" specifically for AI platforms. “These data feeds may involve monetary transactions that could include payments to AI platforms or payments to the retailer/brand (depending on balance of power).” https://lnkd.in/g65RAerA

Two weeks ago on Swimming with Allocators, we sat down with David Clark, CIO at VenCap, to talk about what decades of venture data can teach allocators. One takeaway that stood out: discounts don’t matter as much as people think in venture secondaries. Because venture is such a power-law asset class, outcomes are driven by exposure to a few massive winners. Whether a stake is bought at a small discount, or even a premium, often matters far less than the quality of the underlying company and its upside. Great conversation on venture returns, manager selection, and the nuances of how allocators should think about secondary investments. 👇 Link in the comments.

🚨NEW EPISODE: Recorded live at FUTURE TITANS 2026 - Jeff Perry of Carta sat down with the iconic Seth Levine, co-founder of Foundry. Seth has been in venture for 25 years, built Foundry from scratch as an emerging manager himself, and has backed about 50 emerging manager funds through his fund of funds. He has genuinely seen every side of this table. They went deep on building Foundry, why VCs are in the influence business, not the decision business, and why the concentration problem in venture is not only bad for LPs, but also for the innovation ecosystem overall. And why Seth's new book, Capital Evolution, is so important for the future of America. 🎧 Links to listen... Apple: https://lnkd.in/ehQUQ2EM Spotify: https://lnkd.in/eU4FExpg
