Coal India's July production up 8.4% to 50.36 MT, supplies hit record high
The coal supplied in July marks the highest-ever coal offtake for the month in any financial year. The previous highest July supply was 60.5 million tonnes in 2024. This follows a record performance in June, when the state-run miner supplied 65.95 million tonnes of coal, its highest-ever supply for June.
