This month, we celebrated the 75th anniversary of Beverly Cleary’s debut novel, Henry Huggins. The timeless tale follows an average boy whose life is turned upside down when he meets a lovable puppy with a nose for mischief. Cleary went on to write five more books about Henry and a spinoff series based on his beloved neighbors, Ramona and Beezus, that earned her two Newbery Honors. Join us in celebrating 75 years of Henry Huggins and Beverly Cleary! Explore Cleary’s work: https://lnkd.in/duaTRt68

Introducing the Clear Focus Bible from Zondervan: The Clear Focus Bible is the first-ever Bible available with the Bionic Reading method. Ideal for kids and adults with dyslexia or ADHD, Bionic Reading bolds the portion of each word most critical for comprehension and guides the eye from word to word over the text. This allows the brain to stay engaged, identify previously learned words, and absorb information without losing focus. The Clear Focus Bible is now available in the NIV, NASB (1995 Text), and NIrV translations, as well as NIrV editions for kids. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/dVdzCPe6

For the fifteenth consecutive year, HarperCollins partnered with Volunteers of America (VOA) for Operation Backpack—a program that provides new backpacks filled with school supplies to the more than 15,000 children living in New York City homeless or domestic violence shelters. This year, we proudly donated 8,000 children’s books for students at the VOA preschool for children with developmental delays in the South Bronx. A group of employees also volunteered to fill and sort more than 450 backpacks for distribution. A big thank you to everyone who participated!
