Erwan Menard shared thisWe launched our Crusoe inference service 10 months ago, and thanks to partnerships with Thinking Machines Lab, Perplexity, Base44 and many others we turn engineering brilliance into a reliable service enabling the most advanced AI practitioners in the world. “Crusoe Managed Inference took us from evaluation to production quickly and met the standards we hold our own systems to, giving us the scale and economics to reinvest in the research at the core of what we do,” said Myle Ott, ML Infra Lead at Thinking Machines Lab. Thank you Thinking Machines Lab for the trust and let's build! We met the bar they set for their own systems and took them to production fast on a dedicated, SLA-backed Tailored Deployment we run and support. Another strong addition to our fast-growing Managed Inference business. Next, we're working with Thinking Machines Lab on batch inference for synthetic data generation, so the same inference that serves their users also feeds their research. 🔬 Read the announcement → https://lnkd.in/g4stRS-e

Erwan Menard shared thisReally happy that this partnership is now public. Great alignment of vision between two unique companies, strong commitment to BUILDING together. Check how Perplexity and Crusoe are shaping AI-powered outcomes. Warm thanks to the Perplexity team for the trust and ambition 🙏 Let's build!Erwan Menard shared thisToday we're announcing a multi-year partnership with Perplexity AI to power its AI workloads on Crusoe Cloud. Training and inference are no longer separate problems. The fastest-moving AI companies need one platform that carries a model across its entire lifecycle — from research to production, from the first electron to the last token. That's exactly what this partnership delivers. Perplexity will run its full model lifecycle on Crusoe: training frontier models on dedicated NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 clusters, then serving them in production through Crusoe Managed Inference. At Perplexity's scale, where every millisecond of latency is felt by millions of users, that vertical integration isn't a nice-to-have, it's the product. Perplexity is building the future of how people find answers. We're proud to be the infrastructure making it possible: https://lnkd.in/ebQaKN8v

Erwan Menard shared thisNot every airline is the same, would you agree? Well the same goes with data centers: Not every project is the same. I have always been and remain really compelled by Crusoe energy-first approach. Today I feel equally compelled by another unique aspect of our approach: Our genuine focus on community impact around our AI factories.Erwan Menard shared thisData centers are fueling economic development in Abilene, TX. How do we make sure what we're building also benefits the community? Erwan Menard liked thisErwan Menard liked thisEvery team building on AI faces the same decision: call a closed frontier model, run and customize on open models, or train something proprietary. The right answer depends on where you are in the lifecycle. Erwan Menard liked thisErwan Menard liked this🚀 We're hiring — Cloud Support Engineers Crusoe builds and operates its own GPU infrastructure from the ground up, purpose built for AI workloads. We just closed a $3.9B Series F at a $30.9B valuation, with NVIDIA as one of our investors. Companies like OpenAI, Perplexity, Cognition, and Figure are already running on Crusoe Cloud. We're growing our Cloud Support Engineering team, and these are just two of several open roles right now: 🌙 Weekend shift (Wed–Sun or Sun–Wed). In-office in Bellevue, Dallas, Denver, NYC, SF, or Sunnyvale. Comp premium on top of base. ⭐ Senior Cloud Support Engineer. NYC. Standard schedule. A note on what this role actually is: it's customer-facing support, not DevOps, not SRE, not platform engineering. You'll own external customer issues from the first ticket to full resolution, for enterprise teams running some of the heaviest GPU and AI workloads out there. Real Kubernetes. Real Linux. Problems that look different every time. What we're looking for: ✅ Real hands-on Linux and Kubernetes experience, not something you just listed on a resume ✅ A history of working directly with external customers on technical issues, whether that's support, escalation, or technical account work ✅ You're comfortable being the first line of defense on a live, high-stakes customer problem ✅ Bonus points for GPU, HPC, Slurm, InfiniBand/RDMA, or inference-serving experience These are net-new seats. Nobody's leaving these roles for you to fill. Whoever joins now helps shape how this function actually works, gets a direct line to engineering and product, and gets in early enough for real equity upside as the team scales. 📍 Weekend shift: Bellevue, Dallas, Denver, NYC, SF, or Sunnyvale. 📍 Senior Cloud Support Engineer: NYC. 📩 Interested, or know someone who is? Message me directly.

Erwan Menard liked thisErwan Menard liked this🗣️ "We benchmarked the cluster, and we realized that Crusoe matches the state-of-the-art speed in terms of both the GPUs and the storage. We decided to go with Crusoe because it was the best possible choice." - David Novotný, Co-founder and CTO, SpAItial AI SpAItial builds world models that generate physically grounded environments, the kinds of places a robot can learn to move before it ever acts in the real world. Training one means sharding a model across NVIDIA Hopper GPUs on Crusoe. Near-linear scaling depends on the interconnect, and on storage fast enough to keep the GPUs fed. The team runs on a high-leverage principle: the question is always what they don't have to do themselves. Crusoe Managed Kubernetes handles the control plane and security patching. Crusoe manages the private VPC over NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand networking, so SpAItial's engineers never own the networking layer. In their own benchmarks, the cluster held over 97% scaling efficiency, so almost no compute is lost to interconnect overhead as the cluster grows. Training experiments now iterate roughly 30% faster. What do cod and code have in common? Both commoditised as production technology improved. Margins compressed. Value shifted downstream. This pattern impacted telecom infrastructure margins in the 90s. PC manufacturing in the 2000s. Now it's happening to code. I explore similarities/differences for software founders in Part 1 and plan to cover second order effects in Part 2! https://lnkd.in/gfgUEetJ

As we head into 2026, AI isn't just accelerating, it's evolving how we build, connect, and measure impact. Check out AT&T's new blog from Andy Markus -- a favorite go-to AI expert -- where he breaks down six big AI shifts that every business should be watching closely: ✔️Purpose-built small language models (SLMs) ✔️AI-fueled coding ✔️On-demand, agent-supported apps ✔️Private, high-capacity, low latency fiber networks ✔️Telcos will offer more AI services ✔️Speed, accuracy, and cost become shared KPIs 2026 will reward leaders and teams who don't just adopt AI -- they learn how to work with it. The winners will be those who experiment, upskill, and build durable capabilities that align to business outcomes. If you're curious about the full perspective and some bold predictions, it's a great read: https://lnkd.in/giEG8EC2 Ricardo Lizarralde Laura Hardin Michael Bitsche Ray Serzanin Zoltan Labai Amber Holland Margaret Rooney-McMillen

💬 “For two decades, most sophistication sat in the DSP while the exchange handled infrastructure. Now all of that is starting to change, as SSPs are breaking free of constraint. Enter: sell-side decisioning.” As Netric' s CTO Thomas Nikitin explains in his latest blog post, decisioning is shifting, and the next disruption in #RTB is happening right now on the sell side. Essentially, #decisioning is moving upstream, with the first 10 milliseconds now able to set outcomes for buyers and publishers - cutting waste before it is even created. This isn't just hypothetical. Agentic AI firms, #data activation platforms and #media agencies are all beginning to deploy custom models on the #sellside. Investment thesis summary. As the leading branded provider of switches to US hyperscalers, ANET is well positioned to capitalize on the ongoing growth in data, the continued digital transformation driving workloads from on-premise to public and hybrid-cloud, and the growing demand for higher bandwidth, faster speed, and lower latency. ANET has the most revenue exposure to cloud spending among our coverage universe with 48% of its 2025 revenue from its Cloud Titans segment (META was 16%, MSFT was 26%) and 20% from tier 2 cloud and service providers. In addition, ANET is leveraging its dominant position in data center switches to other networking solutions, particularly in enterprise (e.g., campus switching, wireless, routing, telemetry).

CIOs I’m speaking to right now are facing the toughest infrastructure decisions since the post‑Covid chip shortages. Rising costs, stretched lead times and tighter vendor terms are now hitting the whole stack, not just for memory and processors. Cisco’s recent policy changes are simply a visible symptom of the pressure everyone is under, and this is likely to run for at least the next 12–18 months. At Cistor, as a Cisco Partner, we’ve helped many organisations navigate this before – keeping critical projects moving when lead times blew out and pricing moved against them, by re‑sequencing projects, finding valid alternative SKUs and using circular / remanufactured options where it made sense. You don’t have to just accept higher costs and delays. If your team is dealing with these issues, or wants a clearer view of what’s really going on, we’re happy to share what we’re seeing and walk through some smarter options. https://lnkd.in/e5CHPeKe #ai #memory #chipshortage #supplychain

I have been tracking QumulusAI for some time. What Mike Maniscalco and team are building is a different type of hyperscaler, GPUs yes of course, but the model is more modular and focused on speed of deployment. This article, from an analyst I rate highly and also consider a friend Zeus Kerravala describes the QumulusAI trajectory perfectly. https://lnkd.in/esWCSQpV
