It's great to be back in New York. This week is particularly meaningful as I join world leaders and policymakers at the 80th United Nations General Assembly for critical discussions about the challenges and opportunities facing our global community. UNGA80 comes at a pivotal moment when technological innovation offers unprecedented potential to address some of humanity's most pressing issues. I'll be engaging with global leaders on how we can collectively harness new technologies and innovate for impact while addressing concerns about development and governance. I'm particularly excited to share our vision for how we are developing and deploying responsible AI, and helping to expand internet connectivity through Amazon Project Kuiper to improve lives, create economic opportunity, and build a more sustainable future. Two significant milestones for Amazon Project Kuiper this week. First, the team showed successful tests of our Kuiper network, delivering 1+ Gbps speeds using our enterprise-grade customer terminal (the first commercial phased array ever to clear that threshold to our knowledge). Second, excited to have JetBlue as our first airline customer – bringing faster in-flight Wi-Fi to their passengers using our low Earth orbit satellite network. We continue to be focused on bringing fast, reliable, cost-effective connectivity to customers around the world who don’t have easy access to broadband connectivity. https://lnkd.in/gt6Bi9pg

In-flight Wi-Fi is going to get a major upgrade. JetBlue will be the first airline to adopt Amazon Project Kuiper technology to power their free Wi-Fi starting in 2027. Our low Earth orbit satellites operate 60x closer to Earth than traditional systems, creating a fundamentally different connectivity experience. With four successful launches and 100+ satellites already deployed, we're building what will become another essential layer of global infrastructure, bringing connectivity to customers no matter where they are. https://lnkd.in/gN6_MNtF
