Is Kinguin legit?
Kinguin is a long-established and legitimate company, yes, and has multi-seller verification. Safety-wise, it's broadly safe, as with any marketplace where you deal with third-party sellers; the best way to know if a seller is good is to look at the published seller ratings.
As with every key-selling website, it's grey-market, so there is a slim chance your code may be region-locked; however, regions are shown on listings, so as long as you're paying attention to the listings, you're good to go. What are Kinguin Krowns?
Krowns are Kinguin’s virtual currency, which they give to account holders for completing certain actions on the site. These include buying products and even visiting the site on a regular basis. Customers can start collecting Kinguin Krowns as soon as they have created an account and joined Kinguin Rewards. Krowns can then be spent on further purchases or entry into members-only prize draws, where you have a chance to win top gaming titles.
What is Kinguin Rewards?
When you create a Kinguin account, you can start collecting Kinguin Krowns, a virtual currency you'll be awarded when purchasing games and even visiting the website. Your Krowns can then be used to buy games, Ninja Packs, or compete in AAA game giveaway weekends.
Does Kinguin offer refunds?
Yes, they do. If you’ve changed your mind and would like to cancel your order you'll need to do so before you’ve redeemed the code. Kinguin is unable to offer refunds once you’ve redeemed your code and as a seller of game licenses is not responsible for the technical state or performance of the game.

Because Kinguin, is a marketplace, the same game key is often listed by several different sellers at different prices. Open the product page and open the full list offers rather than grabbing the first one shown. Just weigh the savings against the sellers rating first.
Check Region & Platform
This is where many people waste money. Confirm the listing is for your region (or a global key) and the correct store, whether that's Steam, Xbox, PlayStation or Battle.net, before you pay. A key that won't activate is money down the drain.
