    The massive 15-foot-tall concrete Google "G" statue outside our Bay View office recently got a fresh new look to match our brighter, bolder AI-era logo. This wasn't an easy feat — the team had to engineer and plan for materials that are both flexible and resilient, dodge unpredictable weather windows, and bring in a specialist to hand-blend the gradient across a massive surface. The coolest part? It's now the only "G" statue in the entire company painted entirely by hand, giving a little extra human character to our “Super G”.

    Just announced: We have expanded our partnership with Oracle to bring Gemini to Oracle’s extensive portfolio of enterprise applications. The partnership builds on customers’ existing access to Gemini models through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Enterprise AI and will make Gemini models now available in Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications. In addition, Oracle plans to use Gemini models for embedded AI use cases in Oracle Fusion Applications and Oracle NetSuite. "Upon arrival, my first priority is leading a briefing with my sign language interpreters," he says. "We use this dedicated time to map out the day’s logistics — ranging from high-level executive deep dives to granular technical sessions — to ensure seamless communication throughout every meeting. Sam spends the rest of his day acting as a bridge between different teams — moving from executive pitch refinements and new hire mentoring to aligning engineering and legal cohorts on open-source AI accessibility guidelines. It’s a fast-paced choreography that shows complex technical roadmaps succeed when leaders focus on breaking down silos and keeping everyone moving in the same direction.
