Dolphins' Storm Duck: Returns to limited practice Wednesday
The Dolphins opened Duck's (knee) 21-day practice window Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Duck was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. The Dolphins have until Oct. 21 to return the cornerback to the active roster, or the team will need to keep the 25-year-old on the reserve/PUP list for the remainder of the 2026 season.

Dolphins' Chris Bell: Limited Wednesday
Bell (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Notably, Caleb Douglas (ankle) was absent from Wednesday's practice, which could allow Bell to play an increased role again in Week 4 after he caught four of seven targets for 67 yards in last Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. Bell has been seeing his practice reps managed all summer after undergoing ACL surgery late last season.

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Officially limited Wednesday
Wright (foot) officially was limited at Wednesday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Wright didn't play in Week 3 against the Chiefs due to a stinger and foot injury, but stinger has been axed from the practice report to begin Week 4 prep, meaning only the foot issue is bothering him at the moment. If he's able to put all health concerns behind him and return to action Sunday at Minnesota, he'll be in line for a significant bump in playing time in the aftermath of De'Von Achane's torn ACL. Moving forward, Wright and Ollie Gordon are expected to pace the Dolphins backfield.

Dolphins' Caleb Douglas: Misses practice Wednesday
Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley said that Douglas (ankle) won't practice Wednesday, Travis Wingfield of the team's official site reports.
Hafley labeled Douglas as day-to-day when he spoke to the media Monday, but the rookie wideout apparently hasn't made enough progress in his recovery from the ankle injury two days later to practice in any fashion. Considering he missed the Dolphins' Week 3 loss to the Chiefs, Douglas will probably need to put in a full practice by Friday in order to approach Sunday's game in Minnesota without a designation.

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Taking part in practice Wednesday
Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley said that Wright (foot/stinger) will practice Wednesday, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.
Wright sat out the Dolphins' Week 3 loss to the Chiefs while tending to a foot injury as well as a stinger, but the running back is now being viewed as day-to-day and seemingly has decent odds of making it back in action for Sunday's game against the Vikings. The third-year player earned just three touches over the first two contests of 2026, but with lead back De'Von Achane (knee) out for the season, both Wright and Ollie Gordon should be in store for added opportunities moving forward. Following Achane's early departure in Week 3, Gordon finished the game with 20 touches (17 carries, three catches), but he totaled just 55 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown. Prior to sitting out against the Chiefs, Wright had been working ahead of Gordon, so the former could end up being the Dolphins' preferred option once he gets back to full health.

Dolphins' Jacob Rodriguez: Picks Pat in loss
Rodriguez logged six tackles (four solo) and one pass defensed for an interception in the Dolphins' 24-10 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.
Rodriguez played all 49 defensive snaps for the Dolphins in the contest. The second-round rookie intercepted Patrick Mahomes in the second quarter of the game on a deep throw intended for Rashe Rice, advancing the ball 18 yards to the Miami 47-yard line. The 24-year-old's first career interception did not lead to Dolphins points or a win.

Dolphins' Chris Bell: Sees increased snaps in Week 3
Bell caught four of seven targets for 67 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Chiefs.
With Caleb Douglas (ankle) inactive and De'Von Achane suffering a torn ACL in the first half against Kanas City, Bell was one of the biggest beneficiaries from both a playing time and opportunity perspective. His seven targets were tied for second on the team with Greg Dulcich behind Malik Washington's 10. If Douglas needs to miss more time, Bell could again see elevated snaps Sunday against Minnesota.

Dolphins' Malik Washington: Sees 12 opportunities in Week 3 loss
Washington caught five of 10 targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Chiefs. He rushed two times for five yards.
Washington became the focal point of the offense following De'Von Achane's season-ending torn ACL in the first half. Moving forward, Washington needs to be rostered in all fantasy formats after seeing a combined 12 opportunities against Kansas City. On the season, he's recorded 12 catches for 152 yards on 23 targets. He's also handed three rushing attempts for nine yards.
